Yet another year has gone by and I've done even less lurking than in previous years. The new job has me so tired of computers at the end of the day that I rarely even turn the home machine on.
I just got back from Dad's wedding. He married his sweetheart from back before I was born. I guess it was a good thing they split up before. Hopefully, they'll stay together now.
Wisconsin was nice - but more senseless than ever. Some of the bizarre thought processes in their government make me worried for the future of this country. I don't think that all liberalism is bad, but all of the socialist mentality, lack of personal responsibility, and general senselessness of those in charge up there is just a bit too overboard. I used to want to move back up there - I suppose mostly for nostalgia's sake, but I think I can do better. My primary reason to want to relocate is to find a better climate (four full seasons, low humidity, etc).
Anywho - not much sense in filling this journal full of stuff if few will ever read it. If you're sitting there reading this out of some bored curiosity, you likely got here because I faved something of yours or added you to devwatch, so let me say thanks for your contribution to the images that make my day better. One of these days I'll acutally upload some of my stuff and contribute more...

oh - and one more thing - I need to get another bike. I could use some two-wheeled open-road therapy again.
